Tip: a hike to Riemannhaus. Starting point for this challenging tour is Bürgerau, just a few minutes’ drive from Hotel Langeck in the town of Saalfelden. This route is particularly popular with expert hikers and proceeds through the inspirational Steinernes Meer. Those of you who enjoy a bit of variety will love this hike – proceed through the forest, via hills and at the end across a rock face secured by cables high up to Riemannhaus. The superb Alpine panorama is always in your line of sight.
